About Me

Amber is a professional designer and writer hailing from the Fingerlakes region of New York. She holds an M.F.A. in design & tech from Parsons, The New School and a B.A. in political science from American University.
 
She started writing professionally covering legislative updates in Washington D.C. for CD Publications. She's since worked as a staff writer for a Gannett newspaper, The Ithaca Journal, and a number of other publications including academic publisher Elsevier, Informa, Monroe Magazine, Sloane Magazine, Dollhouse Magazine, and Fashion x Film. 
 
She gained experience as a producer in the digital media department at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC where she oversaw production of museum audio guides. She has worked in research for a SaaS company and for multiple tech start-ups as a designer, artist, and writer. She worked on international artist JR's tour of the U.S. in 2018 in support of his work in collaboration with TIME Magazine. She also contributed to multiple marketing activations for Netflix and a variety of documentary films in Los Angeles.
